Suzuki Celerio

The Suzuki Celerio is a city car manufactured by Maruti Suzuki in India and launched in February 2014. Maruti Suzuki unveiled the Celerio at the Auto Expo 2014, after being previewed as the A: Wind concept model at the Thailand International Motor Expo in November 2013.

Celerio’s exterior was designed with a sleek, yet bold style. The stylish external front, rear design is accentuated by curves evoking a sporty demeanor in subtle approach.

The fog lights provide a wide flat beam aimed low to increase illumination directed towards the road surface in conditions of poor visibility, reducing the glare back from rain, dust, or foggy situation.

The interior is a haven of technology and entertainment. The instrument panel is sporty, stylish, and functional. A slim design made possible by a specially designed audio unit creates a balanced look, and it gently wraps around the driver for a confidence-inspiring sense of oneness with the car.

A big, high-legibility, single-dial speedometer incorporated a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) showing an odometer, fuel gauge and clock.

Surround yourself with the center louvres that help maximize the benefit of the air conditioning system. The controls are positioned well for an easy access.

Enjoy each ride using the MP3 compatible CD player, that also features a USB connectivity, AM/FM playback and auxiliary input jack to connect MP3 players. Feel the best quality of sound through the 4 speakers and 2 tweeters. A power socket near the center tray can be used to charge electronic items.

Celerio has plenty of storage compartments like a spacious glove box for added convenience and practicality.

In terms of performance, the Celerio was engineered with the K10B Inline-3 Engine with a maximum power of 68 hp at 600 rpm (for GA-MT variant), 68 hp at 6200 rpm (GL-AT variant) and a maximum torque of 90 Nm at 4800 rpm  (GA-MT), 90 at 3500 rpm (GL-AT). The GA-MT variant has a 5-speed manual transmission while the GL-AT has a 4-speed AT.

Turning is not a problem with the Celerio with the Rack and Pinion with Electric Power Steering (EPS).

Suzuki’s attention to detail is further reflected with the occupants needs. With the city car, driving in the metro will be easier and more comfortable. Test drive the new Celerio now at our car dealership.
